Definitely will buy again if and when my set breaks. This design has been around for many years so its a proven product. The wind-up carrying case is easy to use and stores the headphones away neatly. I really can't think of anything negative about this product based on its price performance. I had these Sony headphones many years ago but without volume control and they sounded great. These Sony headphones sounded just as good and with the added convenience of controlling the volume on the cord. I use it mainly with my iphone 3G and it matches well.
Warning guys: these earphones are mostly a nice neutral gray with black wires, However, the part that hangs from your ear is painted a shiny metallic silver, and from even a short distance, you look like a guy with thick, droopy earrings. These just don't sound good enough to be worth looking like a drag queen.
I've tried many and this one sounds great and is well made. The chord is strong and the buds fit well too.
I have 3 of these already.one for the office, at home and on my iPod. It fits perfectly into my ears, no irritating pain and the sound quality is rich. It's been 3-4 years since I've been using them. Purchased and tried them on. Will definitely be buying this again. I hardly ever listen to my music loud, but even when it's raised up, it's perfectly quiet to others around you.
No problems at all. When I saw how cheap they were, I thought to myself, why not. It was amazing. LOVE LOVE LOVE these earphones.
In our day where almost all volume controls are digital (e.g. The free case is what makes them last and cables straight.5. These Sony buds have a VOLUME CONTROL on cable and you can adjust the sound level VERY PRECISLEY. Think different.
I wished more companies integrated volume control in their ear phones.4. (And a proof that white Apple buds are all about sex appeal and definitely NOT music enjoyment).2. Price, once again, is unbeatable for what you get.Cons: (1) These are not white, (2) these don't sound as good like buds you can get for $40+ or with over the ear headphones (and really will you tell the difference at that level)., (3) these don't look as "sexy" as colorful buds.BOTTOM LINE: If you care for your music and your budget, trash the white Apple buds and get these. BTW, the design has not changed a bit. These Sony are so much better sound quality then anything in this price range. These Sony last forever. (A proof that a good product does not need an update).3. with +/- buttons instead of a analog resistor that turns) you can adjust your volume with an incredible precision that no digital control would yield.
Care for your music sound, your ears potential and take pride. Get these inexpensive and durable buds for your iPod (Yes, I do think that you most likely have an iPod).Why.1. I bought my first pair in 1997 that I just replaced. I can never get my iPod touch or HP laptop to the volume level I want with other buds.
